Richemont and Polo announce a joint venture.......
The Richemont Group one of the world's leading luxury goods group just announced a joint venture partnership with Polo Ralph Lauren. They will both own half of The Polo Ralph Lauren Watch and Jewellry Company. Richemont currently owns luxury watch brands Jaeger-LeCoultre, Baume & Mercier, Vacheron Constantin, Officine Panerai and A. Lange & Sohne, IWC and pen maker Mont Blanc among others. My guess is they will be rebranding watches from one of these companies as they have with Mont Blanc watches. I can promise you one thing, I will never buy a Polo Watch.
