Audemars Piguet Don Ramon Offshore

In celebration of the new Audemars Piguet boutique that opened last year in Madrid Spain, AP has produced two limited edition timepieces. One for men and one for women. On May 20th they will begin delivering both the Don Ramon Offshore men's watches and the Don Ramon Offshore ladies' watches. The gents model is limited to 100 pieces and ladies' model is limited to 50 pieces.

Each piece will come in 18-karat pink gold and costs $48k. They both come with a rubber and leather strap. The men's model comes with a very cool black Superluminova treatment on the dial (which I am sure will make its way onto other AP watches in the future) and the ladies' version comes set with diamonds on the dial and bezel.

The Audemars Piguet Don Ramon Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph watch is powered by the robust self-winding AP 3126/3840 caliber. The movement features a 60-hour power reserve, and a freely-sprung gyromax balance wheel on a full balance bridge. A 22K gold rotor carved with the crests of the Audemars and Piguet families efficiently winds the mainspring in both directions of rotation. The balance frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour enables the chronograph function to offer 1/6th second timing precision for independent intervals of time. Chronograph counters at 6 and 9 o'clock permit mark periods within 12-hours and 30-minutes, respectively.
