Only Watch: Franc Vila All Black Cobra Chronograph
Franc Vila created their first all black version of the Cobra, for the Only Watch Charity Auction. This unique luxury watch is a one-of-a-kind.
The bezel and case are made of hard black steel and feature Franc Vila's signature "Esprit Unique" shape with elliptic and circular bezel. Both crystals, front and back, feature sapphire glass with double sided anti-glare treatment. Water resistance is down to 300 meters.
The movement is a high grade mechanical self-winding hand finished complicated movement caliber FV8Ch, featuring a FV Exclusive "Gold Concept Rotor". Power reserve is 42 hours. Functions are; Hours, minutes and seconds. Chronograph. Big date.
The dial is Carbon fiber with a guilloché pattern. There is a "Big date" indicator in the center of the dial. Chronograph subdials at 6' (minutes) and at 9' (hours). Chronograph seconds indication displayed by central hand. Seconds indication at 3'.
The strap is black rubber with a hard black clasp. A double-sided crocodile leather strap with red stitching is also included.
Only Watch is an extraordinary auction event which is held every two years in Monaco during the Monaco Yacht Show under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II. This year, 35 top watchmaking brands will each contribute a unique piece. All the proceeds from Only Watch go to support research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The auction, organized by Patrizzi & Co., will take place on September 24.
