Jean Richard Diverscope

Earlier this year, at SIHH 2009, Jean Richard unveiled a new version of the Diverscope, powered by their in-house movement - the JR 1000. This automatic movement is the same one used to power their Chronoscope, as well as numerous other watches in their collection. It is designed to accommodate several complications, and can be supplemented by various modules providing virtually unlimited functions.

The 43 mm stainless steel case is coated with black vulcanized rubber. It features two PVD treated titanium screw-down crowns, each with distinct functions. The crown located at 3 o'clock is used to set the hours, minutes, seconds and date. And the crown located at 9 o'clock is used to control the positioning of the bidirectional bezel. This revolving bezel allows you to record diving time, an essential diving function.

Green luminous material is used on the dial. Straps come in either vulcanized rubber with a folding buckle or fabric velcro fastening.

A rounded sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective coating is used on the front. For the back, a black-PVD coated titanium caseback is secured by four screws. Water-resistance is 300 meters.
