Seiko Premier Kinetic Rose Gold Chronograph
Seiko recently released a new luxury dress watch, the Premier Kinetic Chronograph. The 42mm steel case features a lustrous Rose Gold PVD coated finish. The dial is black with steel Roman numerals and rose gold accents on the subdials, hands and indices.
Inside, is a Seiko "Kinetic" movement. Kinetic power is generated by a rotor like with an automatic movement, and then transferred to a quartz crystal oscillator. The benefits are quartz accuracy and cost, without the need for a battery, like on an automatic. The 7L22 Kinetic Chronograph calibre has 1/5th-second timing capabilities and up to 12 hours elapsed time. An instant flyback function allows all chronograph hands to reset the moment the reset button is pushed.
The crystal is sapphire and water-resistance is 100 meters. Retail is $1,050.
