Victorinox Dive Master 500 Mecha

Victorinox recently introduced a new mechanical collection in the sub-$1000 price segment. The Victorinox Dive Master 500 Mecha, powered by a reliable base ETA 2892-A2 self-winding mechanical movement. There are now more "quality" offerings in this category than ever before, and this trend does not appear to be changing anytime soon. I cannot wait to see what Baselworld will bring.

The new Dive Master Mecha features a 43mm stainless steel case, coated in PVD. A sapphire crystal protects the dial and a see-through caseback protects the rear. The hands and markers are luminous. Functions are hours, minutes, seconds and date. The crown is screw-down. Water-resistance is 500 meters (1650 ft).

Retail is $995.
