Xetum Tyndall Limited Edition

Xetum, a relatively new watch brand that designs their timepieces in California, and uses Swiss movements, cases and assembly -- has just announced that they will be producing a 100 piece limited edition version of their popular Tyndall timepiece.

The Tyndall Limited Edition will be available beginning February 15, 2011. Each piece is individually numbered from 1-100. The movement is a highly reliable Swiss-made ETA 2895-2 elaboree-grade automatic movement with 27 jewels, it runs at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and the power reserve is 42-hours. Côtes de Genève (Geneva stripes) rotor decoration will appear on selected pieces. The functions are same as the original Tyndall (hours, minutes, small seconds and date), but the limited edition comes with a carbon fiber dial and a fully polished case.

The stainless steel round case measures 40 mm in diameter and 11 mm in thickness. The crown is screw down and water-resistance is 100 meters.

The sapphire crystal has anti-reflective coating on the interior of the crystal. The exhibition back features a K1 hardened mineral crystal, and allows a perfect view into the movement. The strap is a naturally tanned black leather with a lining of Italian cork. A stainless steel pus-button butterfly clasp (with an engraved Xetum logo) secures the strap to your wrist.

With only 100 pieces being made, the already hot Tyndalls, will be even hotter - pre-order yours here.
