The Casio Pathfinder Triple Sensor Multi-Function Sport (PAG240-1CR) is perfect for hiking, camping, and general outdoor use. The quartz-powered Tough Solar movement drives a multi-function digital display.
Presented in a durable resin case measuring 50.9 mm in diameter x 15.3 mm thick, the Pathfinder is made to withstand rugged outdoor use. The crystal is a hardened mineral. The strap is made of resin and has a pin buckle closure. The steel caseback is solid and has been secured by four screws.

The plethora of functions are one of the attributes of this watch and include a barometer, altimeter, thermometer, countdown timer, compass, alarm function (5 daily alarms), stopwatch (1/100th accuracy), 12/24 hour formats, auto backlight, world timer (31 time zones) and auto calendar. The bezel is bi-directional and features direction markings that work with the digital compass.

For the barometer, altimeter, and compass, there are three large direct access buttons on the right side of the case with a grippy plastic knurled surface which can easily be manipulated even with gloves on. On the opposite side of the case is a mode button and a sensor for the different tools. Just below 6 o’clock are two Pathfinder signature yellow buttons, one to adjust the time and the other to activate the backlight.

The all-digital Pathfinder Sport PAG240-1CR is a rugged professional tool watch with tons of useful features, including a water-resistance rating of 100 meters. It’s very easy to use and the price is hard to beat. Retail is $250. If you can afford to pay a little more, then you might also want to take a look at this Pathfinder.
