Harry Winston Ocean Sport Chronograph Skeleton

November 10, 2011

Harry Winston has announced a new skeletonized timepiece, the Ocean Sport Chronograph.

The Ocean Sport Chronograph features a 44 mm satin finished Zalium case. Zalium is an ultra-light alloy made of aluminum and zirconium; it has a lustrous gunmetal finish and is known for its hypo-allergenic and anti-corrosive properties. The unidirectional rotating bezel is also made of Zalium, with DLC-coated indexes.

The dial is openworked with a smoked finish, allowing a nice view into the skeletonized movement. Hours and minutes hands are coated with Superluminova. A blue chronograph seconds central hand contrasts nicely with the mostly grey color scheme. A subdial at 6 o'clock displays the chronograph hours and a subdial at 9 o'clock displays the chronograph minutes. Small seconds are displayed via a hand (without a subdial) at 3 o'clock. The date is visible through an aperture at 12 o'clock, just below the "Harry Winston" logo.

Black rubber strap. Water-resistant 200 meters.
