Baselworld 2012: Carrera Jack Heuer 80th Birthday Edition (preview)
TAG Heuer will use the "Heuer" moniker on the dial of a special vintage inspired Carrera timepiece, which will be officially introduced next week at Baselworld, to pay homage to the brand's founder - Jack Heuer. This may only be a small design detail, but a good detail nonetheless. I've long wished they would use the Heuer brand for the mechanical timepieces and TAG Heuer for the entry-level collections.
Calibre 11 says TAG Heuer will focus on new Carrera watches at Baselworld. "Among them is this watch- the Carrera Jack Heuer 80th Birthday Edition. The watch is a Limited Edition that combines the case of the Carrera 1887 with the traditional Carrera bi- compax Chronograph layout."
