Grand Seiko from 1960s, To Be Sold Without Reserve

An early model Grand Seiko Chronometer will be available at Antiquorum Hong Kong in October. Ref. JJ14070GS with a Diashock automatic movement, made in the early 1960s. It is comes in a polished and brushed 35 mm by 11 mm gold-filled case with inclined bezel and screwed-down case back, with an embossed logo. The dial is matte silver with applied gold faceted baton indexes, outer minute divisions. Gold dauphine hands.

The Diashock movement is Grand Seiko manufacture caliber 3180; it is rhodium-plated, has 25 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, flat balance spring, index regulator, and hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed.

This is a great looking classic Grand Seiko, with a low estimate (click "Read More" to see the estimate), and it will be sold without reserve.
