This is a quick look at the new Tudor that was announced at Baselworld in March. It has the same 41 mm diameter steel case and retro design as the Heritage Black Bay that was unveiled in 2012, except instead of a red bezel and Gilt dial with off-white Superluminova for the markers/hands, it has a blue bezel and white luminous material for the markers/hands.

It is paired with your choice of a blue leather strap or steel bracelet, and each timepiece comes with an additional Tudor fabric strap. The latter being our favorite. The Tudor fabric strap looks similar to a traditional Nato strap, but the material is much thicker and likely more durable, and best of all, it does not have the extra material at the end of the strap that has to be folded or cut, like a typical Nato. So it has the benefits of a traditional cloth or leather strap, with the look and comfort of a Nato.

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Blue was officially launched at Tourneau last Thursday, and so they are now officially available for sale in the United States. The price is $3,100 on leather strap and $3,425 on steel bracelet.
