Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced one of the most precise tourbillons on the market when they launched the Duomètre Sphérotourbillon in 2012. The watchmakers in Le Sentier modified the caliber 382 which was used in the original Sphérotourbillon, launched 3 years ago, to accommodate the addition of the moon phase, resulting in caliber 389.
The Duomètre Sphérotourbillon Moon is presented in a platinum case that measures 42 mm by 14.3 mm, pretty close to the original model, except this time only available in platinum. The same ultra-precise spiral tourbillon regulation system regulates the watch.

Finishing is of course, top notch. Polished and satin-brushed surfaces, lateral case opening revealing the Sphérotourbillon and satin-brushed finish, nickel silver bridges and main plate, decorated by hand, grained silver toned dial, 4N rose gold appliqués,

There is only one crown to wind the watch, set the time and adjust the moonphase display. And one push-piece at 2 o’clock to activate the small second flyback function.
