We were at the Crystal Shops at City Center in Las Vegas (connected to the Aria), a few weekends ago, and came across two awesome Porsche Design ballpoint pens: the Laser Flex and Shake Pen.

The Porsche Design “Laser Flex” pen (shown in a steel with a brushed finish) has a flexible barrel made of stainless steel with precise laser cut slots that contract and release together upon pushing and releasing the top of the pen. In steel, it retails for $500, and in PVD steel, it is $590.

Porsche Design’s best selling pen, the Shake Pen, comes in a steel and carbon fiber barrel and has an innovative technology that allows you to lightly shake your wrist to reveal the ballpoint pen. Repeat the motion and it disappears back into the barrel. It’s made in Germany and comes in two smaller variations.

The Porsche Design “Shake Pen Big” retails for $260.
