F.P. Journe is has a created a unique Tourbillon Souverain Bleu watch especially for the Only Watch auction coming up in November.

This is the first time ever that a tourbillon is made with a case completely crafted from tantalum. Tantalum is very difficult to work with, however, it has a beautiful blue hue that gives it its appeal, and makes it worth the extra effort. The blue chrome dial compliments the color theme and creates a perfect contrast with the tourbillon aperture where the 18K rose gold movement is peaking out.

The movement is manually wound and features Journe’s tourbillon with remontoir (constant force device) and a dead beat seconds function. It is also finished to perfection with circular stripes on the bridges, Geneva waves on the baseplate, polished screw heads, and beveled pegs with polished rounded ends.
