Last week, Seiko Corporation of America held the grand opening of its second United States boutique – which is also Seiko’s 71st boutique worldwide – in Miami’s Design District.

The opening event was held at Michael’s Genuine in Miami, hosted by Seiko Corporation of America Chairman Akio Naito, and attended by over 100 guests. The Design District is known for its destination shopping that includes the world’s most prestigious brands and fittingly the new store primarily focuses on Seiko’s prestigious collections, including Grand Seiko, Astron, and Credor. It will also showcase collections never before sold in the US, including Presage, and various boutique exclusives within the US, including the Prospex collection.

“The opening of our Miami Seiko Boutique truly signifies the beginnings of Seiko’s position as a permanent global leader in the timepiece industry. This boutique is a showcase of Seiko’s craftsmanship and technologies in watchmaking,” says Mr. Naito.

“Following the standards from boutiques in Tokyo, Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Cairo, New York City, Sydney, and Dubai, the Miami Design District will add a new and continued superior level of exposure of the ever-growing U.S. and global presence. Seiko will continue to seek the most ideal locations to spotlight our product, catering to our luxury timepieces, including Grand Seiko, Astron, and Credor.”

Like the New York City Seiko boutique, which opened in 2014, the Miami Seiko boutique has an unrivaled collection of Seiko, Grand Seiko, Prospex, Astron, Presage, and Credor timepieces.

The Miami Seiko boutique is located in the Atlas Plaza at:
