Pierre DeRoche recently introduced the SplitRock MDA Full-Black Chronograph at Baselworld 2009. Above is a photograph taken from the case at the Pierre DeRoche Basel booth. Below is the manufacture image. Both images are similar, although it appears there are a few subtle differences in the two dials. The version shown at Baselworld may not have had a movement in it at the time. And the manufacture image is probably a rendered version. The final product may vary slightly.
At Baselworld I had a chance to photograph three of Citizen's Eco-Drive concept watches, all part of the CITIZEN Basel Project 2009. The Eco-Drive RING is designed to receive light from a solar cell situated around the edge of the case. The Eco-Drive DOME features the new Cal.H610 movement, a dome-shaped dial and a unique case. The Eco-Drive VITRO features an invisible solar cell that is spread throughout the glass, and a skeleton-type dial that is integrated with the case.
Omega recently introduced the Seamaster Aqua Terra Co-Axial GMT Chronograph. It features a 44mm diameter case, in either stainless steel or 18k red gold. The case is both polished and brushed. It is water-resistant to 150 meters. The sapphire crystal is domed with a double anti-reflective treatment. Inside is a co-axial calibre 3603 COSC-certified column wheel chronograph movement.
The Column-Wheel Chronograph was a important introduction for Longines at Baselworld this year. It features the new L688.2 calibre movement, developed in-house (by ETA). The new movement is housed in a traditional 40 mm stainless case. It features a small seconds subdial (at 9 o'clock), a 30-minute continuous action counter (at 3 o'clock) and a 12-hour continuous action counter (at 6 o'clock). A date indicator sits in between the 4 and 5 o'clock indexes. The dial is silvered with gold-plated Dauphine-style hands and gold-plated hour markers.

Here are the new Raven models from Breitling, the Skyracer (above) and the Airwolf (below). The Airwolf is powered by an exclusive SuperQuartz™ movement. This movement functions with extreme accuracy and can measure 1/100th of a second chronograph times. It also features a 2nd timezone, alarm, countdown timer and UTC. A NVG-compatible display backlighting system enables night time reading. A turbine-shaped caseback functions as a resonance chamber for the alarm and other audible indications.
The new Alpina Extreme Diver 1000 M features a black PVD steel case that is 48 mm in diameter. It features a unidirectional rotating bezel that displays a luminous minute indication. There is an automatic helium escape valve located at 10 o'clock. This allows the helium atoms to escape the case during decompression.
Edox introduced the new Class-1 Ice Shark dive watch at Baselworld 2009. It is a left hand dive watch with a scratch resistant black ceramic bezel and 1000 meter water-resistance. A 45 mm x 15.8 mm PVD coated stainless steel case houses a Ronda-5040.B quartz chronograph movement.
