Christopher Ward launches their first COSC certified chronometer, the C50 Malvern. Christopher Ward watches, for men and women, are designed in Britain, using Swiss movements and hand assembled in Switzerland.

The new C50 is an updated version of Christopher Ward's first watch. The C50 features a classic 39 mm steel case and is fully polished. Inside, is a top grade ETA 2836-2 movement with a 38-hour power reserve. The dial has a galvanic ivory finish. The strap is brown leather with a folding clasp.

Christopher Ward makes a wide range of compelling timepieces, at reasonable prices, and this timepiece is a perfect example. Limited to 200 timepieces worldwide. Available October 2011.

Christopher Ward is a 5-year old London based watchmaker who creates affordable quartz and mechanical timepieces. They have a new swiss made diver watch that will be available for sale in November called the C60 Kingfisher Auto. It is an automatic dive watch powered by an ETA 2824-2 self-winding mechanical movement. The case is 42 mm x 13 mm in diameter and features thick 4.5 mm domed sapphire crystal. The caseback is solid and features a NDL dive scale engraved in it. The caseback and crown screw-in and help to maintain water-resistance down to 300 meters (1000 ft). There is a 2-piece unidirectional dive bezel to keep track of your dive time. The indices feature a Superuminova treatment for visibility at night or underwater. The dial features a bright yellow metallic finish. The strap is silicon rubber with a stainless steel butteryfly clasp.

Last month, Christopher Ward, announced their first mechanical wristwatch here. Less than a month later, they have announced another mechanical wristwatch. The C600 Tri-Tech Diver Elite.

London based Swiss watchmaker, Christopher Ward, has just unveiled a new automatic chronograph model, the C40 SpeedHawk Chronograph. The case design was adapted from their best selling C4 Peregrine collection. Christopher Ward's website says "the C40's crowning glory, the customised ETA Valjoux 7750 movement can be seen in all its glory through the crystal exhibition back."

Christopher Ward London, a new London based watch company, offers a variety of men's watches ranging from $250 to $600 USD. I have not had a chance to see any of these watches in person, but judging from the pictures, they appear to be a good value. Most models are offered in quartz, but they do offer a few in automatic. All CW watches use Swiss movements and come in a variety of colors. The only place to purchase one is on the CW website.
