Defakto Single Handed Watches

DEFAKTO-Nachtschicht-PVD-Seite.jpg

Defakto, is a German watch brand that produces simple one handed timepieces (with Swiss movements). A number of high-end watch brands offer one-handed timepieces, but none as affordable and easy to read as this one. Defakto has only one timepiece, with four different variations: steel case/black dial, steel case/white dial, pvd case/white dial and pvd case/black dial.

Everything about this brand is simple. It is actually quite refreshing to see one model, and only four choices, because it makes the purchase decision that much easier.

Speaking of ease, the dial is actually extremely simple to read. The big indexes are hour markers, of course, and the smaller indexes represent 15-minutes each. Even if you cannot read the watch with 1-minute precision, 15-minute increments are still very useful, as opposed to a single-handed watch that does not include the quarter hour indexes (and some single-handed watches do intentionally leave out these markings).
