This is the new Rebellion T-1000 Gotham which will be officially launched at Baselworld later this month. The T-1000 Gotham is being produced in a limited edition of 25 pieces. It will be available in two different combinations of natural and blackened titanium, with a choice of a black, gold, red (shown), blue or purple movement.

Rebellion watches at Baselworld 2011

These are three Rebellion timepieces that I photographed during Baselworld, back in March. Rebellion is a small, modern, racing inspired watch brand. Their timepieces are large and have bold, sporty styling. Each collection is limited edition, with an edition number engraved on the case flank. Rebellion timepieces generally cost $20,000 and up.

Baselworld 2010 Preview Rebellion Predator

In its two years of existence, Rebellion has built a solid reputation with exceptional timepieces - chronographs, regulators and tourbillions - inspired by the world of automobile racing. Conceived in collaboration with the designer Eric Giroud, the Predator also borrows many of its features from racing cars: the brake discs and the pedals, the five-layer dial with its honeycomb base, and the push rod shaped bridges connecting the chronograph counters to the dial. Not to mention the formidable technical mastery of the double sectorial seconds hand at 9 o'clock: the shorter hand indicates 0 to 30 seconds, with the longer one taking over for 30 to 60 seconds. The case is constructed in a sandwich of superimposed layers available in various materials, so there are many ways to personalise the timepiece.

This is the new RE-1 Automatic Chronograph from Rebellion. Rebellion was launched in 2008 and is based in Lonay (located on the shores of Lake Geneva). Rebellion makes luxury watches in very limited quantities.
