In agreement with Taito, the makers of the video game Space Invaders, RJ-Romain Jerome has created two 78-piece limited series timepieces that feature Space Invader themed dials. One version features a graphic that is white and coated with Superluminova and the other version has a multi color lacquered dial. The case is black PVD treated stainless steel and measures 46 mm. The movement is a Swiss automatic RJ001-A with 23 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. Black rubber strap. Water-resistance is 30 meters.

With this unique Eyjafjallajökull-DNA model, RJ illustrates the legends of our time and the mythologies that will forge the memory of the 21st century. Baselworld 2008 is just around the corner, April 3- April 10th. Romain Jerome, Mondaine, Luminox and Armand Nicolet released these photos of watches that will debut at Baselworld. I have more watch photos from Breitling and Oris that I will publish tommorrow.

It looks like watchmaker Romain Jerome has created another controversial timepiece made with rusted Titanic steel. This model is even nicer than the first model as this model is a Tourbillon.

This is the limited edition Titanic DNA wristwatch from Romain Jerome actually utitlizes real steel from the Titanic. This version in particular uses rusted steel, which I think looks the best. It is also available in platinum/rusted steel, pink gold, and white gold versions.
