Last month, German watchmaker, Sinn, introduced a new model, the 917 GR Rally Chronograph. The new Rally Chronograph features a countdown bezel that is controlled by the crown at 4 o'clock. The U100 PVD chrono from Sinn should be available March 2008 for $4500. Sinn has engineered push-buttons that can operate the chrono down to 1000 meters, which is an amazing feat considering most dive chonrographs cannot be used while submerged.

Sinn U2 Diver

The Sinn U2 case is made out of German submarine steel that is guaranteed to be corrosion-proof, as well as impervious to salt water. The bezel is almost scratch-proof due to a process called "Tegiment" which causes steel to harden to ceramic levels. It is a GMT, which is very convenient if you are not in your home time zone. I am not sure the dial and look really appeals to me, but the 2000m dive depth, German engineering and GMT function definitely does.
