Pre-Basleworld 2015: Zeitwinkel 273° Saphir

Saint-Imier based watchmaker Zeitwinkel, has revealed a sapphire crystal dial variant to their 273° timepiece. The watch features hours, minutes, small seconds, big date and power reserve indications. The markings have been applied and printed on the sapphire dial, which is available in either clear or tinted. The back also has a sapphire crystal, allowing for its owners to view the finely finished German silver manipulate, bridges and components, from each side. The back of the movement is finished primarily with Geneva stripes and brushing, whereas the front side (the dial side) is finished with a circular graining pattern.

The Zeitwinkel 273° in rose gold

Zeitwinkel’s flagship “273°” watch, with its signature big date display and power reserve indicator, is now available in 18K rose gold. The case measures 42.5 mm in diameter by 13.8 mm in thickness, and has a mixture of polished and brushed surfaces. The top surfaces, caseback, lug edges and raised areas of the crown are all fully polished. Whereas, the sides of the case and the non-raised areas of the crown have a distinctive “frosted” matt finish that contrasts the shiny surfaces.

Zeitwinkel, whose name is derived from a unit of measure used to calculate true local time, is a small St-Imier, Switzerland based watch brand with in-house made movements. They are all Swiss, with German style case and movement designs.

Introducing the Zeitwinkel 273°

Pre-Baselworld 2014 Saint-Imier, Switzerland based Zeitwinkel offers timepieces with a mixture of Swiss and German styling, powered by in-house movements. The Zeitwinkel 273° features a patented large date display at 11 o’clock, a retrograde power reserve indicator in between 1 and 2 o’clock, central hour and minute hands and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock.
