The Corum Ti-Bridge was introduced this past March, in Basel. I had a chance to see this timepiece, up-close.

Definitely one of those stand-out pieces that make you think back to the days when Corum made the popular Bubble watches. Except this one demonstrates a much more advanced level of watchmaking know-how. It features Corum’s second in-house movement, the CO 007. It is reminiscent of Corum’s CO 113 caliber, which is used in the Golden Bridge. But the 007 is a totally new design.

The 21-jewel manually wound movement runs at 4Hz. The bridge is titanium with a satin-finish and engraved Corum logo. The barrel features a snailed finish. Four triangular casing clamps hold the movement in place. So when you look through the front of the watch, all you see is the movement, the hour and minutes hands, the bottom plates and the triangle casing clamps. There is no dial. Much like the Golden Bridge watch, but more contemporary.
