Originally introduced in 2009 with a quartz movement, the Tissot Veloci-T Chronograph is also available in an automatic mechanical version.

The Veloci-T comes in a stainless steel case measuring 42 mm x 14.89 mm in height. The case is brushed, with polished accents on the crown, pushers, and lug edges. The pushers are rectangular shaped with black textured inserts, which add to the overall race-inspired design.

The dial is black with two chronograph subdials (at 12 and 6 o’clock), a small second subdial (at 9 o’clock), a date window (at 3 o’clock). Hour markers are applied and feature luminous paint. The bezel is brushed steel with an engraved tachymeter scale that is useful for converting time intervals to speed. A Swiss automatic mechanical ETA C01.211 powers hours, minutes, seconds, date, and stopwatch (chronograph) functions. The power reserve is 45 hours.

Available in a rubber strap or stainless steel bracelet. The strap and bracelet have a brushed stainless steel push-button clasp with an engraved “T” logo. A sapphire crystal protects the dial. The caseback is stainless steel with a small sapphire crystal that offers a view of the movement balance as it oscillates at 28,800 vph. Water-resistance is rated to 100 meters.

On the wrist, the Veloci-T both fits comfortably and looks good. The lugs are smooth and contour to your wrist. The 42 mm diameter case is a good size, not too big and not too small. The rubber strap is integrated directly into the case. The crown is a good size and does not dig into your wrist. The chronograph pushers, which activate the start/stop and reset functions of the chronograph, operate very smoothly.
