After the success of the Zeitwerk Luminous, which is currently still backordered around the world, A. Lange & Söhne illuminated the Grand version of its most iconic timepiece, the Lange 1.

This time, it’s called Lumen, instead of Luminous, but the effect is the same. A smoke sapphire crystal dial allows a view into the movement, from the front side. Luminous paint was used for the markers, hands, and on Lange’s patent date display. This gives the watch a totally different look.

So far, Lange has used white gold or platinum for their Luminous models. It would be interesting to see it in rose gold too.
