Created by Crouse-Hinds, an American electrical company which previously specialized in traffic signals and is now a subsidiary of Cooper Industries, in 1950, this is an Industrial Explosion Proof Clock. It features a screw on face cover, a sweeping second hand and still keeps good time.

It is in very good condition and has a nice patina and wear to all surfaces, as you would expect from a clock of this vintage. The dimensions are 18 by 6.5 inches. And it’s a whopping 40lbs. When these clocks were in production, they were originally used in factories and mines. Not sure why you would need an explosion proof clock, but we definitely want one.
