Glashutte Original launched a gorgeous new blue version of their classic Senator Sixties timepiece at Baselworld 2013 last week (available without date as shown, or with Panorama Date at 6 o’clock). The new timepiece is presented in the same sleek 39 mm x 9.4 mm polished stainless steel case as the previous versions. The same domed sapphire crystal and domed dial. What is new is the color of the dial and the strap. The new dial is in galvanized blue with a sunburst decoration, the hands are made of white gold and feature luminous paint for nighttime legibility.

Functions include hours, minutes, seconds and a stop second. Screwed transparent case back. Water-resistant to 30 meters. Powering the watch is German in-house automatic caliber 39-52.

A blue Louisiana alligator leather strap with stainless steel buckle finishes this classic time only model. This dress watch is thin, simple and timeless. (Ref. 1-39-52-06-02-04)
