Our focus at ProfessionalWatches.com is primarily entry level to high-end mechanical watches, however, once in a while a quartz watch catches our eye. In this case, the ZIIIRO Mercury. It is a very affordably priced quartz timepiece, yes. But more importantly, it has a unique way of telling time.

“The tip of the inner swirl represents the current hour, while the outer swirl displays the minutes, with a continuous gradient movement showing the passing through time.”

This is fashion watch (a category we rarely cover), still, there is at least a decent Japanese Miyota 1L-26 quartz powering it, so it should be reliable. The case is stainless steel (40 mm in diameter by 8 mm thick) and is treated with a matte PVD finish. The glass is a hardened mineral crystal and the caseback is polished stainless steel. Water-resistance is 30 meters. Learn more HERE.
