This is the new Carrera Caliber 36 Flyback Chronograph. It comes in four variations: black outer ring with anthracite sunray center section on a steel bracelet or black alligator leather strap, and a silver outer ring with anthracite sunray center section on a steel bracelet or black alligator leather strap. (There is also a special all-black racing model shown below. Ref. CAR2B80.FC6325). All versions are powered by the Calibre 36, which is a modified flyback version of the Zenith El Primero (a movement produced by Zenith which is also owned by LVMH. It beats at a frequency of 5Hz.

The dial features a unique double-scale design which is inspired by vintage Heuer stopwatches. It has a large external scale for indicating chronograph seconds at a glance (or central minutes if you like). Hour and minutes are indicated via a dedicate ring in the central part of the dial. A small second sub-dial displays continuous seconds at 9 o’clock. A 30-minute chronograph counter sits at 3 o’clock. A small date aperture is located at 6 o’clock. The outer most ring has a tachymeter ring for making speed calculations (racing model only).

The case measures 43 mm and is brushed on the side of the case and top of the horns; and mirror polished for sharp edges. The dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment. Sapphire crystal case back. Water-resistant to 100 meters.
