Saint-Imier, Switzerland-based Zeitwinkel offers timepieces with a mixture of Swiss and German styling, powered by in-house movements.

Announced Pre-Baselworld 2014, the Zeitwinkel 273° features a patented large date display at 11 o’clock, a retrograde power reserve indicator in between 1 and 2 o’clock, central hour and minute hands, and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock.

The dial is galvanized silver, with a snailed small seconds indicator, faceted and polished lozenge hour and minute hands, and blued hands for the small seconds and power reserve indications. Applied pointed indexes mark the hours, with a printed minutes track.

The caliber ZW0103 is a self-winding movement with German silver bridges and the main plate, adorned with Geneva stripes and perlage. It runs at 4Hz, has 49 jewels, and a power reserve of 72-hours. The oscillating weight is skeletonized with a gold weight around its perimeter.

The case is stainless steel that has been polished to a mirror finish and measures 42.5 mm in diameter by 13.8 mm in thickness, with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal front and back. The crown is in polished steel and is non-locking. Water-resistance is 50 meters. Comes on a alligator pattern black leather strap with a folding clasp. Retail is approximately $12,000.
