Pre-Baselworld 2015: Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase

This year at Baselworld 2015, which starts March 19th, Longines will introduce a new moonphase chronograph within their sporty Conquest line.
The Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase will be available in a 42 mm diameter case, in either steel (Ref. L2.798.4.52/72.6), steel and 18K rose gold (Ref. L2.798.5.52/72.7) or 18K rose gold (Ref. L2.798.8.52/72.3/5).
The steel model comes with a black dial, and the steel/rose gold and rose gold models come with a silvered dial. The hours are marked by 9 applied, luminous, indices. The baton-shaped hour and minute hands also feature lume. The black dial hands and indices are rhodium-plated and polished, and the rose gold models feature polished rose gold hands and indices.
The watch is powered by caliber L678 which is a Valjoux 7751. It runs at 4Hz, has a 48-hour power reserve and features chronograph, date, moonphase and a 24-hour indication. The 12-hour counter is at 6 o’clock, the 24-hour indicator and the subdial for the seconds at 9 o’clock, as well as the 30-minute counter and the day-and-month display at 12 o’clock. The date is indicated by a half-moon central hand.
There is an option for a steel bracelet or alligator strap. Sapphire crystal with multi-layer anti-reflective treatment. Sapphire caseback. Water-resistance is 50 meters. The case, pushers, and embossed crown are fully polished. The bracelet is polished with brushed center links.
