Baselworld is right around the corner, and we will begin bringing you live coverage starting March 16th. Today, we have another preview, from independent Swiss watchmaker, Beat Haldimann.

The Haldimann H11 Centralbalance 3 Hands has the balance wheel and regulating assortment located in the center of the movement. And Haldimann engineered this configuration without moving the hour and minute hands, complicating the entire production process, of course.

Uniquely, the H11 has been entirely designed, developed, and produced in the Haldimann workshops in Thun, Switzerland. From the movement to the hand-crafted platinum case, everything is in-house manufactured.

The case is 39 mm in diameter with a domed sapphire crystal and a sapphire case back. The dial is white with rhodium plating, done by hand.

Hand wound caliber H-ZEN.K H11 powers the watch. Functions include hours, minutes, and seconds. Water-resistance is 30 meters. Each piece is paired with a hand-stitched black alligator strap with a platinum buckle or folding clasp.
