Today, Girard-Perregaux debuted their octagonal bezel Laureato wristwatch with an all-new black ceramic case and bracelet.

While the rest of the core Laureato line comes in three sizes, for now at least, the Laureato Ceramic is available only in one size: a 42 mm x 10.90 mm case.

The dial is black with a “Clou de Paris” hobnail motif and baton-type hands and hour markers with luminescent material. The watch is 100 meters water-resistant and has a smoked sapphire crystal on the backside to match the dark theme.

Inside, is caliber GP01800-0025 (30 mm x 3.97 mm) which is an automatic that beats at 4Hz, has 191 components, 28 jewels, and a 54-hour power reserve. The functions are hours, minutes, centers seconds, and a date.

The case is finished with a mixture of polished and satin-brushed surfaces and a ceramic triple-blade folding clasp. (Ref. 81010-32-631-32A) The retail price is $16,700.
