The Midnight Precious Weaving Automatic 42 mm has a dial created with a rare Japanese weaving technique that consists of silk gold thread and thin pieces of natural mother-of-pearl being woven together.

This technique is considered an art form and was derived from “Raden,” the ancient Japanese practice of applying shells to wood and lacquer surfaces.

An open caseback reveals the automatic 4Hz movement which measures 26.2 mm x 3.37 mm, has 186 components, 26 jewels, and a 72-hour power reserve. There is an 18K white gold openwork rotor, and bridges have a Circular Côtes de Genève finish along with circular graining on the mainplate.

Presented in an 18K polished white gold case, the watch measures 42.5 mm x 9.1 mm and has Harry Winston’s signature art deco lines cut into the lugs and around the bezel.

The dial has an applied, embossed HW logo that acts as the hour marker at 12 o’clock, and the crown is also embossed with HW. Double baton hour markers are applied at 3, 6, and 9. The depth rating is 30 meters. Limited to 50 pieces. (Ref. MIDAHM42WW002)
