A. Lange & Sonne will officially debut three redesigned Saxonia models at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie next month in Geneva: the Saxonia, Saxonia Automatic and Saxonia Dual Time. All three models will receive new dials. Two of the models will get slightly smaller cases.

The new dials feature solid-gold applied hour markers that have been moved toward the periphery of the dial, with double baton markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. Additionally, the black printed minute scale now has slightly longer graduations. And, on the Saxonia Automatic and Dual Time, the subsidiary seconds dial now has numerals marking each ten second interval.

Notably, the Saxonia now comes in a slightly smaller 35 mm case (reduced from 37 mm), and the Saxonia Dual Time has been reduced from 40 mm to 38.5 mm, which makes it the same size as the current Saxonia Automatic.

This is not a major update but the improvements create a more sophisticated look, and better legibility.
