Anonimo made a special edition of its Nautilo watch dedicated to the Nendaz Freeride competition in Switzerland.

Part of a bigger tour called the Freeride World Tour, the Nendaz Freeride takes place in Nendaz, Switzerland from March 13, 2020, to March 25, 2020, and consists of both skiers and snowboarders, of multiple ages, competing for a limited number of spots at the Freeride World Tour the following year.

Anonimo is an official sponsor and created the Nautilo Nendaz Freeride as part of the collaboration.

This special edition Nautilo watch maintains the same stainless steel cushion case, movement, and dimensions of the regular production models at 42 mm x 11.8 mm. Even the price is the same. The production will be limited but there’s not an edition number marked on the watch.

A special engraving on the left case flank that reads “Nendaz Freeride” and the Nendaz Freeride logo has been laser-etched in black on the screwed sapphire caseback.

The watch has a screw-down crown with a long asymmetrical crown guard, a slightly raised sapphire crystal, and a water-resistance rating of 200 meters. The diver’s bezel insert is made from scratch-resistant black ceramic and rotates unidirectionally.

A light blue-hued sunray finished dial further distinguishes this timepiece from the rest of the Nautilo collection. Time is displayed via three central hands and applied indices, all featuring luminous paint. The date is shown in a small aperture at 6 o’clock.

Driving the hands and date wheel is a Sellita SW 200-1 4Hz automatic movement which has a 38-hour power reserve and a custom Anonimo oscillating weight.

Completing the sporty look is a black rubber strap with chequered texture and pin buckle. (Ref. AM-5009.09.103.R11.NF) Retail is approximately $2,290.
