For Armin Strom’s contribution to Only Watch 2017, they partnered with Brooklyn-based artist, Hunt Slonem, and one of his famous rabbit paintings has been transferred to the dial of this unique timepiece. In addition to the one-of-a-kind watch, Lot 49 comes with a hand-signed original which mimics the pattern and colors from the dial in a 46 cm x 31 cm (18″ x 12″) format.

The Armin Strom Manual Hunt Slonem Edition for Only Watch is presented in a brushed titanium case measuring 43.40 mm x 13 mm and housing the manually wound in-house caliber AMW11.

While the dial art is awesome, the movement is equally impressive. Beating at a frequency of 2.5Hz (18,000 kph), the AMW11 has 112 components, 20 jewels, and a 5-day power reserve (120-hours). A traversing bridge secures the free-sprung balance wheel in place. Visible through the sapphire caseback you can see detailed Swiss finishes such as circular Geneva stripes as well as “ONLY WATCH UNIQUE PIECE” engraved on the main bridge, beveled edges, sunburst finishing on the wheels, black polished screw heads, perlage on the mainplate, and the company’s signature hand engraved motif.
