TX watches, launched in 2006, is a high-end watch company owned by the Timex Group. During Baselworld 2009 I had a chance to meet with part of the TX team – Anita Lefebvre (Sales Director), Giorgio Galli (Designer) and Scott Wolfe (President). After speaking with them, one thing was clear, they intend on making some of the very best watches in their niche.

Take the TX 800 series (pictured above) for example, it features a 47mm titanium carbide case, a beveled sapphire crystal, a soft rubber strap, a mixture of matte and polished surfaces, a bi-directional linear chronograph and a second time zone.

In person the TX 800 is quite impressive. As you can see in the photos, when the beveled edge of the sapphire crystal hits the light just right, it gives off a nice sparkle. The polished and matte finishes on the case and bezel contrast very well. And the unique bi-directional linear display really makes this watch stand out.
