“SIHH and Baselworld have agreed on a significant breakthrough. From 2020, the two major events of the watchmaking industry will synchronize their calendars. In 2020, the SIHH will be held from 26 to 29 April in Geneva, followed immediately by Baselworld from 30 April to 5 May in Basel. The calendars have been synchronized until 2024,” according to show management.

This will be the first time that the shows have both run together in the Spring since 2008 when they used to run concurrently, and could, crucially, travel to see both trade shows all in one trip, in the pleasantly warm part of the year in Switzerland.
