After posting a teaser on their website last week, today Hodinkee announces their collaboration with Blancpain.

Introducing the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Hodinkee Limited Edition. Presented in an all brushed stainless steel case measuring 38 mm x 10.77 mm, in typical Hodinkee fashion, there’s no date display – just hours, minutes, and seconds.

The utilitarian dive watch features a ceramic bezel insert and Liquidmetal® hour-markers, matte black dial with printed Arabic numerals and indices, in a vintage-shade of luminous material.

Driving the time only display is Blancpain’s automatic caliber 1153 which uses a silicon hairspring and is good for 100-hours of power reserve.

The Bathyscaphe dive watch has a locking crown, multiple gaskets, and is rated to 300 meters. The caseback is sapphire and is engraved with “HODINKEE” and “XXX/100” around the peripheral. The matte gray rotor is relief engraved with both the Blancpain logo/emblem and “HODINKEE.”

The Blancpain X Hodinkee Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Limited Edition Ref. 5100-1130 is limited to 100 pieces that will ship immediately, available today. Each timepiece comes with two 20 mm Nato straps and a Blancpain sail-canvas strap.
