Breitling recently announced a new version of their popular Blackbird collection, the Red Strike Limited Edition. Personally, this is one of my favorite Breitling watches, I especially like the big date window at 12 o’clock. This version will be limited to 2,000 pieces worldwide and is available in either polished (shown) or satin. The stainless steel case is 43.7 mm with a rotating bezel that features a 360° graduated scale.

The “Blackbird Special” comes on a pilot bracelet and is water-resistance to 300 meters. The movement is a 38-jewel Breitling Calibre 44 automatic movement that has been COSC certified (all Breitlings are COSC chronometer-certified). The most notable difference between this and a standard Blackbird watch are the red highlights on the dial.

Retail is $6,940.
