To celebrate the newly opened Beverly Hills Breitling boutique — a limited numbered edition of the Superocean Heritage II was created.

Located at the high-end outdoor shopping plaza, Two Rodeo, the Breitling Beverly Hills boutique opened on June 12, 2020, and is run by Westime (which also operates a multi-brand store adjacent to Breitling). The interior design is immaculately decorated to Breitling’s standards, and with a unique L-shaped layout, the quaint 650 square feet of retail space is capable of displaying the Grenchen-based brand’s entire watch collection.

The Breitling Superocean Heritage II B20 Automatic 44 Black Steel Beverly Hills Edition comes in a DLC-coated stainless steel case with an 18K red gold ridged unidirectional bezel and a scratch-resistant black ceramic insert with gold graduations. Matching the bezel is a gold arrow-tipped hour hand, sword-shaped minute hand, and baton-shaped seconds hand, along with gold applied indices.

Limited to 50 pieces the Superocean Heritage II features a retro design dating back to 1957 — with a contemporary case construction and modern automatic movement. Inside is chronometer caliber B20, which is based on the Tudor caliber MT5612. The movement beats at 4Hz and has a 70-hour power reserve.

The case has a domed sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, and screw-in caseback (engraved with “BEVERLY HILLS EDITION” and the edition number X/50). Water-resistance is rated to 200 meters. The weight is 140 grams without the strap. Comes on a black Aero Classic rubber strap (with an imprinted beads-of-rice pattern) with a blackened folding buckle. (Ref. UB20303A1B1S1)
