This morning, Breitling announced a new Top Time Deus Limited Edition, which is a throwback design created in collaboration with the Australian lifestyle brand Deus Ex Machina.

The Top Time Deus Limited Edition comes in a 41 mm x 14.27 mm vintage-style fully polished stainless steel case with pump-pushers and is powered by an automatic COSC-certified ETA/Sellita movement that runs at 4Hz and has a 48-hour power reserve.

A domed sapphire protects the dial, with a solid steel snap-on caseback. A stainless steel push-in type crown, that’s polished and embossed with the Breitling “B” emblem, controls winding and setting functions.

The Panda-style, off-white dial, with two recessed non-circular black counters, flat-tipped orange lacquered stick-shaped hour and minute hands, an orange-red lightning bolt center chronograph seconds hand, and a variety of red and orange-hued accents — with the Deus logo emblazoned in black at 12 o’clock —  harkens back to the original 1960s Top Time chronograph that inspired this retro-modern design.

Breitling’s Top Time Deus Limited Edition (Ref. A233101A1A1X1) comes with a brown racing-themed calfskin leather strap with a pin buckle and is available in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces on Breitling.com for $4,990.
