If you like action movies, and you have not seen the first John Wick movie, you need to see it. But don’t take my word for it – as the 2014 neo-noir action thriller received an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie starred Keanu Reeves in his first major title role in years. And he literally and figuratively killed it. This article titled “The Guns of John Wick” breaks down the epic list of every (real) weapon used in the movie, including an analysis of all the kills made.

Like the guns, the watches were real, and for his role as John Wick, Reeves wore a Carl F. Bucherer Manero AutoDate in steel with white dial and black alligator leather strap. For the second installment, which premiered yesterday in Los Angeles, he will again be wearing his signature Manero AutoDate.

Carl F. Bucherer CEO, Sascha Moeri, who is pictured in the middle of the top photo, walked the red carpet alongside brand ambassador and movie director Chad Stahelski, and actors Keanu Reeves, Common, and Daniel Bernhardt, among others.

According to Carl F. Bucherer, “Hollywood came out to celebrate the film’s much-anticipated premiere at the ArcLight Theater. The star-studded event was hosted by Swiss watch manufacturer Carl F. Bucherer. The stars took to the red carpet in style including Keanu Reeves, who sported a Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec II in steel with a black dial for the occasion. Director and Carl F. Bucherer brand ambassador Chad Stahelski wore a Patravi TravelTec. They were joined by co-stars Ruby Rose, Ian McShane, Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo, Laurence Fishburne, and Common wearing Carl F. Bucherer Manero PowerReserve.

The brand’s distinctive Swiss-made luxury timepieces make their second appearance in the action film franchise, worn by Keanu Reeves and members of the A-list cast. Gripping action sequences awe-struck the audience as former hit-man John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, comes out of retirement once again to face off with the world’s deadliest assassins. John Wick is wearing his trademark Carl F. Bucherer Manero AutoDate in steel with a white dial and black alligator leather strap throughout the film. His antagonist Cassian, played by rap star and musician Common, wears the Patravi ScubaTec in steel with a black dial. Ian McShane as Winston also stays true to his Manero AutoDate in steel with black dial and black strap.”

Sascha Moeri, CEO of Carl F. Bucherer had this to say during the premiere party, “I couldn’t be more proud: our handcrafted fine timepieces are featured on the wrist of Keanu Reeves and throughout the movie John Wick: Chapter 2. And tonight we were here to celebrate the premiere of this action movie as well as the Director and brand ambassador Chad Stahelski. A truly amazing collaboration!”

John Wick: Chapter 2 hits theaters on February 10th, 2017.
