Both are good choices if you’re looking for an angular-shaped case with an integrated bracelet. The Royal Oak is the original Gerald Genta luxury sports watch from 1972. The Aikon is often considered to copy the Royal Oak look, however, is based on an archival design and is not the same exact look as a replica. Plus, the Aikon case and bracelet are manufactured in-house. Both watches use outsourced movements, although the Royal Oak movement is better finished and more high-end overall. The Royal Oaks costs many times more, and on the secondary market, the prices are sky high as of 2021. The Aikon gives a similar look for a fraction of the price.
