Following announcements as early as September 2020 in Japan, in January 2021 G-Shock has begun to debut an all-red Full Metal 5000 wristwatch in additional markets.

The G-Shock GMW-B5000RD-4 should be available in the US soon, for a price of around $600. Apart from the flamboyant brushed and polished red ion-plated paint job, this Full Metal 5000 is the same as past models.
