Girard-Perregaux extends its Three Flying Bridges Tourbillon collection, with the latest variation in 18K pink gold.

Following the introduction of the backend grad 5 titanium limited edition version of the Three Flying Bridges Tourbillon, in partnership with Aston Martin, in June, the La Chaux-de-Fonds manufacture has created the same watch in pink gold, sans the automotive co-branding.

The  Three Flying Bridges Tourbillon 18K pink gold case measures the same 44 mm x 15.52 mm, and features the same box-type sapphire crystal which helps onlookers enjoy the components and finishes of the skeletonized caliber GP09400-1273. The manually wound movement beats at 3Hz, has 27 jewels, 260 total components, and a 60-hour power reserve.

At 42 mm x 9.45 mm, the three bridge tourbillon movement perfectly fits into the 44 mm case, in fact, the bridges themselves act as the mainplate, supporting the gear train, barrel, and tourbillon.

Sitting on top of the center bridge are Girard-Perregaux’s version of skeletonized Dauphine-style hands, which are pink gold, with black lume. This black and pink gold color scheme is repeated with the three black and pink gold bridges, which have a matte black treatment on the top side, with contrasting polished pink gold bevels, creating an elegant juxtaposition of surfaces for the watches marquee element.

The watch displays hours, minutes, and small seconds, via the 60-second tourbillon cage. The Three Flying Bridges Tourbillon Pink Gold is water-resistant to 30 meters and is paired with a black alligator strap with a rubber effect and 18K pink gold triple folding clasp, as well as an additional black alligator strap with gold effect.
