Chopard is a Swiss watch and jewelry brand that has supported the Mille Miglia for years, largely because the company’s co-owner Karl Scheufele III is a fan of vintage cars and the rally racing associated with them, most notably the annual Mille Miglia race. This year Chopard created a 100-piece limited edition of their standard Mille Miglia Classic Racing chronograph, which we’ve previously covered here and here, in collaboration with Italian car design studio Zagato (which has worked on designs for Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, and Bentley.)

The Chopard x Zagato special edition was announced by Scheufele in conjunction with the Concours d’Elegance held in Kyoto, Japan last week, an event that featured 33 cars with the Zagato signature, including the Alpha Romeo pictured below.

The Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Zagato 100th Anniversary timepiece takes the existing 42 mm x 12.67 mm stainless steel chronograph and gives it a unique Zagato design treatment. The dial has a unique red lacquered finish with a repeating Zagato Z motif, and with a rhodium-plated “Z” logo applied just above the printed Chopard and Millie Miglia logos at 12 o’clock. The snailed hours and minutes counters at 6 and 9 o’clock are also in red.

Retail is $6,890.
