Swiss-based watchmaker and Hong Kong-based clothier The Armoury collaborated on a limited-edition timepiece, which is both unique and expensive.

At 38 mm x 9.9 mm, and with a time-only design, featuring a Vantablack® dial and open-topped Breguet-style hour and minute hands, this is a basic dress watch that’s best worn with formal clothing like blazers, suits, and tuxedos. There are two versions, one in a stainless steel case with a steel flange, indices, and hands — and the other in two-tone stainless steel with a 5N red gold flange, indices, and hands.

Moser is a true watch manufacture, and the 2.5Hz, 29-jewel hand-wound HMC 327 caliber was designed and produced in-house, even the balance wheel and spring. The 32 mm x 4.5 mm movement has a three-quarter plate design with rhodium-plated bridges, Geneva stripes, and hand beveled and polished edges. The balance assembly is supported by a traversing bridge and there’s a power reserve indicator on the movement side that shows how much of the 72-hour reserve is remaining.

The retail price of the Moser Endeavour Small Seconds Total Eclipse x The Armoury is $25,900 which is a lot for a dress watch, considering you can get a Patek Philippe Calatrava in 18K white gold for less. If you want something more exclusive (28 limited editions per variation Ref. 1327-1200 – steel model, Ref. 1327-1201 – steel and red gold model ), with a longer power reserve, with a bespoke pocket square by The Armoury, and the most black dial on the market — then this could be of interest.

In addition to the pocket square, each Endeavour Small Seconds Total Eclipse watch comes with a hand-stitched black calf leather two-tone effect strap from The Armoury.
